House League program: Boys and Girls (gender-separated teams)
U09: Born in 2013-2014 (This division will have the U9G's playing against the U9B's for games if there aren't enough girls to form four teams.)
U11: Born in 2011-2012 (This division could have the U11G's playing against the U11B's for games if there aren't enough girls to form four teams.)
Teams practice one hour per week (Friday gym time is possible, but any other weekday evening may be a possibility). Once a practice day/time is selected by the coach(es), that will remain for the season. Location for practices is Sherwood Park (local schools), with all games played on Saturdays in Sherwood Park school gyms.
U9's play 3-on-3 cross-court and U11's play 4-on-4 full-court.
League rules are posted on the website.
Season goes from late October to early March (gym omit dates cause cancellations on various dates and Christmas break could be attached to December gym cancellations).
**NOTE: THERE ARE NO PLAYOFFS IN ANY HOUSE LEAGUE DIVISION.
***NOTE regarding U11 GIRLS: There is the possibility that not enough girls join up for the 2020-2021 season. Therefore, teams that can be put together may be playing against U11 Boys for their Saturday games. Should there not be enough girls at all, the choice of Mini/U11 SBA team that plays in EYBA can be an option, albeit at an increase in cost.
FEE =$310.00 *(NOTE: all prices listed below increase by $50.00 AFTER July 31st) *Decision was recently made NOT to increase any prices after July 31st. However, late fee could be added on after August 31st.
Uniform is purchased (jersey only; shorts can be ordered through our online store). A uniform deposit cheque is NOT required as players keep their jerseys after the season is completed. Fees also include individual/team picture and year-end medal.
