We have booked a Christmas party for our team on Saturday, December 13 at Nitza's Pizza, 300 Amberley Way, Emerald Hills, Sherwood Park. We will meet there immediately following our evening game. Parents and siblings are welcome too - there will be lots of opportunities for fun, laughter, smiles and taking photos! To up the Christmas spirit, if you have a Christmas hat or sweater, feel free to wear it! The cost is $15/person. This includes an area set aside for our party, buffet including salads, pastas, fries, a variety of pizzas and drinks, then all kids get a tour of the kitchen and get to make their own pizza to take home (the value of this pizza would be about $10 but the owner of Nitza's Pizza, Peter, gifts this to kids!). Nitza's is also staying open late to accommodate our team after our game! Please RSVP by e-transfering $15/person who will attend to tayaanjoessie@yahoo.ca, by Sunday, December 7th (earlier if possible). Include in the message "For Team Christmas Party, Name of Player, Total # of People Attending". Reach out to Coach Sandra if you have any questions and let her know of any food allergies (Nitza's Pizza will do their best to accommodate what they can). We will still have 2 practices the following week and many more games in the new year, but let's celebrate together after our last 2025 basketball game!
