Coaches and Volunteers

VOLUNTEER RCMP VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECKS   /   VOLUNTEER FORM 

It is 100% mandatory that ALL persons involved with our SBA youth (including Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Managers if they work with the Kids, Division Coordinators if they work with the Kids) acquire a Police Record Check (PRC).  If you are volunteering to help the team but will NOT be directly working with the kids alone, a PRC/CRC is NOT required.

The PRC is completely free of charge when you submit the letter from SBA.  Both Volunteer & PRC forms can be typed in prior to printing.

Deadline for PRC's:  For EYBA Coaches - deadline is September 15th.  For House League Coaches - deadline is October 15th.

****Starting in the 2018-2019 season and moving forward, the online Volunteer form is mandatory.****

Mandatory Coaching Requirement RCMP VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK:  you must attain an originally signed letter from SBA.  Due to the recent move of the SBA office, those letters will be mailed to Coaches that need to complete their VSC for the upcoming season.  Coaches are to take this document to an RCMP detachment to attain the check free of charges.  Send Darlene an email with your mailing address if you need a letter.
